Hi, this is Jennifer. I'm new to archery, but I'm really interested in learning it. I'm staying in pleasant hill, sf bay area. Does anybody know of a good range near pleasant hill or concord or walnut creek? Thanks guys.

Jenn

Re: where to find an archery range in bay area
Mon, February 27, 2006 - 11:00 AMThere are a few resources which could benefit you.
archeryweb.com/archery/cl...anfrancisco
Additionally, (though it's out of your way) there is a free outdoor range at the western end of Golden Gate Park. It can accomodate shooting up to 150+ yards.

Tue, February 28, 2006 - 3:16 AMThere's an indoor range at The Bow Rack in San Pablo.
And I hear (-I've never been there myself-) that there is a shooting range of some sort in Briones National Park.
If you call The Bow Rack, they may be able to tell you of a range closer to you. -

Mon, March 20, 2006 - 12:36 PMSome friends and I go to Briones on a semi-regular basis. It's a decent range, though I'm not familiar with anything else around here so I couldn't give a comparison. You'll need your own gear, but it's a short trip on the freeway.

Fri, March 2, 2007 - 8:50 PMTheres a really nice range in the Oakland hills behind the observatory. If you feal like taking a ride there is also a very nice range in mount Madonna which is up the 152 near watsonville. Good luck. I've been itching to go out myself.
