yesterday, while in the back yard, the whole family shot arrows. We had fun especially the 3 year old handing out the arrows. We used both recurve and compound bows.Happy shooting, Erika

Re: anyone played this weekend?
Wed, September 7, 2005 - 10:04 PMOver the Labor Day Weekend, I attended - and participated in - an event called "Autumn Rose" in Galesville, Wisconsin (a Medieval event for the SCA). Saturday was an open-to-the-public demonstration and Sunday was a day of classes and and such for us in the SCA. Many arrows were loosed (shot) from bows and the targets acquired many new holes from said arrows. I could be mistaken, but I believe a very good time was had by all who were there.
Keep your strings dry!

Re: anyone played this weekend?
Mon, September 19, 2005 - 12:51 AMLast weekend my girlfriend and I went out to a range in Oakland Ca.
Its a beautiful course with a trail that you can walk. We met a cool guy there who taught us more about the craft. I've found that people who do archery for the most part are very welcoming. I love when I go out and seeing that I'm new folks take the time to help guide me.
