Thumbrings

About a year ago I bought a thumring for the asian style of shooting, because I'm the only one in our archeryclub that uses a thumbring I had to teach myself how to shoot with it, that's pretty tricky when you're used to using your fingers for drawing the bow.
Now I'm wondering if any of you use a thumbring and how you like it.

    I'm still shooting my longbow, but I have been wanting to "convert" to the Asian style for some time. I just need to save about a month's pay to be able to get all the equipment....
